Program

Go FOURTH is not a specific curriculum but it is very curricular. It is an attitude towards teaching and classroom culture characterized by discussions of feelings and fears, hopes and dreams spurred on by literature discussions and serendipitous happenings and encouraged by respectful and non-judgmental leadership.

What makes Go FOURTH special is it's very organization, which allows students to communicate on a national and international level with others dealing with the same issues. Student initiated activities such as the Go FOURTH March in March, 2002 are outgrowths of and expressions of what is going on in the classroom.

Getting Involved

Although Go FOURTH originated in a fourth grade class, we are interested in hearing from teachers of all grade levels who would like to be involved.
